5, 5g & 7 MANUAL V3.0 5g 5.3 3G Connection Connecting to the WiFi/3G > P. 37 • The 3G connection will require you to enter the server name, authentication type and proxy information which will come from your telecom provider. • If the ARCHOS can't connect to the WiFi, then it will automatically try to connect to the mobile telephone network. • If a 3G connection can't be made, it will attempt to use a conventional 2G connection (which will have a slower speed). Your connection type will be indicated in the top right of the screen. • Use "Internet" > "Connection" to display the list of available WiFi and 3G networks. Use the menu to filter networks by type (3G/WiFi). See image. • To modify the settings of the network connection go to "Tools" > "Settings" > "Connectivity". See: "Connectivity" Settings.

5.3 3G CONNECTION
The 3G connection will require you
to enter the server name, authenti-
cation type and proxy information
which will come from your telecom
provider.
If the ARCHOS can’t connect to the
WiFi, then it will automatically try
to connect to the mobile telephone
network.
If a 3G connection can’t be made, it will attempt to use a conventional 2G con-
nection (which will have a slower speed). Your connection type will be indicated
