Before washing for the first time Water hardness In order to achieve good dishwashing results, the dishwasher needs soft water (water with low mineral content). Hard water leaves a white coating on dishes and the dishwasher. Checking water hardness Contact the local water utility to check the water hardness in your area. This is important to determine how much detergent and rinse aid to use. In general, more rinse aid and detergent are needed for hard water. Basic settings Open the door. Press . "Welcome to your ASKO. First time setup." is shown on the display. It is important that you choose the right settings to ensure good dishwashing results. Select setting with . Confirm selected setting with . Settings 1. Language 2. Set level of rinse aid 0/1/2/3/4/5 Default: 4 3. TAB On/Off (All-in-one detergent) Default: Off Select the language to be shown on the display. Use rinse aid to improve wash and dry times. Also use rinse aid to achieve clear and spotless results. The rinse aid dispenser can be adjusted between 0 (Off) and 5 (High dosage). Activate this setting when using an all-in-one detergent that contains rinse aid. This setting reduces the rinse aid dosage. To change the chosen setting, see the chapter Settings. 7
