Sound Pressure warning Excessive sound pressure from earphones or headphones can cause hearing damage or loss. Adjustment of the volume control as well as the equalizer to settings other than the center position may increase the earphones or headphones output voltage and the sound pressure level. Adapter Information Input voltage: 100-240Vac Input frequency: 50-60Hz Rating output current: 3.42A (65W) for B53A and B43A NB models 4.74A (90W) for B53V and B43V NB models Rating output voltage: 19Vdc • Ensure that your Notebook PC is connected to the power adapter before turning it on for the first time. • Ensure that your AC power adapter is plugged-in to a grounded power outlet when using with your Notebook PC. • Locate the input/output rating label on your Notebook PC and ensure that it matches the input/output rating information on your power adapter. Some Notebook PC models may have multiple rating output currents based on the available SKU. • When using your Notebook PC on power adapter mode, the socket outlet must be near to the unit and easily accessible. Transportation Precautions To prepare the Notebook PC for transport, you should turn it OFF and disconnect all external peripherals to prevent damage to the connectors. The hard disk drive's head retracts when the power is turned OFF to prevent scratching of the hard disk surface during transport. Therefore, you should not transport the Notebook PC while the power is still ON.
