Power Management/APM [Enabled] Advanced Power Management (APM) is an application program interface that includes power management in the BIOS. Leave on the Setup default [Enabled]. NOTE: To access the following 18 BIOS power management features, you must set this field to [Enabled]. Green PC Monitor Power State [Stand by] (*APM feature) This field sets the state of the green monitor in use when the system enters powersaving mode. Available options: [Stand By] [Suspend] [Off] Video Power Down Mode [Stand By] (*APM feature) This field determines when to power down the monitor for monitor power management. The monitor automatically wakes up when any specified system activity is detected. Available options: [Disabled] [Stand By] [Suspend] Hard Disk Power Down Mode [Disabled] (*APM feature) This field sets when to power down all the IDE hard disk drives in the system. The hard disks automatically wake up when any specified system activity is detected. Available options: [Disabled] [Stand By] [Suspend] Standby / Suspend Time Out (Minute) [Disabled] (*APM feature) These fields set the period of inactivity before the system is put to standby/ suspend mode. Power Management Setup
Power Management/APM [Enabled]
Advanced Power Management (APM) is an application program interface that in-
cludes power management in the BIOS. Leave on the Setup default [Enabled].
NOTE: To access the following 18 BIOS power management features, you must
set this field to [Enabled].
Green PC Monitor Power State [Stand by] (*APM feature)
This field sets the state of the green monitor in use when the system enters power-
saving mode. Available options: [Stand By] [Suspend] [Off]
Video Power Down Mode [Stand By] (*APM feature)
This field determines when to power down the monitor for monitor power
management. The monitor automatically wakes up when any specified system ac-
tivity is detected. Available options: [Disabled] [Stand By] [Suspend]
Hard Disk Power Down Mode [Disabled] (*APM feature)
This field sets when to power down all the IDE hard disk drives in the system. The
