To begin using your support CD disc, just insert it into your CD-ROM drive and the support CD installation menu should appear. If the menu does not appear, double-click or run D:\ASSETUP.EXE (assuming that your CD-ROM drive is drive D:). 5.2.1 Installation Menu 5. S/W SETUP Windows 98 • Show MB Information: Allows you to view information about your motherboard, such as product name, BIOS version, and CPU. • Browse CD Content: Allows you to view the contents of the CD. • Audio Driver (Optional): Installs the necessary audio drivers and utilities to access the features of the built-in PCI audio chipset. • PC-cillin 98: Installs the PC-cillin virus protection software. View the online help for more information. • Acrobat Reader V4.0: Installs the Adobe Acrobat Reader software necessary to view user's manuals saved in PDF format. Updated or other language versions of this motherboard's manual is available in PDF format at any of our web sites. • IDE Driver: Installs VIA Bus Master PCI IDE Controller Driver. • Miniport Driver: Installs the necessary AGP miniport driver for the K7 Series motherboards with AMD-751 chipset under Windows 9x. • ASUS PC Probe: Installs a simple utility to monitor your computer's fan, temperature, and voltages. • YAMAHAS-YXG50 (Optional): Installs the YAMAHA SoftSynthesizer for playing MIDI files through software. Refer to the online help for more information. • YAMAHA XGStudio (Optional): Installs the YAMAHA XGstudio Mixer for mixing MIDI files. Installation Menu
Show MB Information:
Allows you to view information about your motherboard, such
as product name, BIOS version, and CPU.
Browse CD Content:
Allows you to view the contents of the CD.
Audio Driver

Acrobat Reader V4.0:
