Trusted Platform Module (TPM) This motherboard supports the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), which provides enhanced data performance via high-level encryption/decryption, and ensures platform integrity. The TPM meets the Windows® Vista BitlockerTM Drive Encryption hardware requirement for a more secure working environment. See page 2-26 for details. IEEE 1394a support The IEEE 1394a interface provides high speed digital interface for audio/video appliances such as digital television, digital video camcorders, storage peripherals & other PC portable devices. See page 1-29 and 1-31 for details. S/PDIF digital sound ready The motherboard supports the S/PDIF-out (SONY-PHILIPS Digtal Interface) function through the S/PDIF interface at mid-board.
