2.7.2 Internal connectors 1. Floppy disk drive connector (34-1 pin FLOPPY) This connector is for the provided floppy disk drive (FDD) signal cable. Insert one end of the cable to this connector, then connect the other end to the signal connector at the back of the floppy disk drive. Pin 5 on the connector is removed to prevent incorrect cable connection when using an FDD cable with a covered Pin 5. Primary/Secondary IDE connector (40-1 pin PRI_IDE, SEC_IDE) This connector supports the provided UltraATA133 IDE hard disk ribbon cable. Connect the cableʼs blue connector to the primary (recommended) or secondary IDE connector, the black connector for the UltraATA133 master device. 1. Follow the hard disk drive documentation when setting the device in master or slave mode. 2. Pin 20 on each IDE connector is removed to match the covered hole on the UltraATA cable connector. This prevents incorrect orientation when you connect the cables. 3. The hole near the blue connector on the UltraATA cable is intentional. Floppy disk drive connector (34-1 pin FLOPPY)
This connector is for the provided floppy disk drive (FDD) signal cable. Insert
one end of the cable to this connector, then connect the other end to the
signal connector at the back of the floppy disk drive.
Pin 5 on the connector is removed to prevent incorrect cable connection when
using an FDD cable with a covered Pin 5.

This connector supports the provided UltraATA133 IDE hard disk ribbon cable.
Connect the cableʼs blue connector to the primary (recommended) or secondary
IDE connector, the black connector for the UltraATA133 master device.

Follow the hard disk drive documentation when setting the device in master
or slave mode.

Pin 20 on each IDE connector is removed to match the covered hole on the
UltraATA cable connector. This prevents incorrect orientation when you
connect the cables.
