Chapter 1 1.1.3 ROG exclusive features Extreme Engine Digi+ IV Nothing delivers purer power than Extreme Engine Digi+ IV - Rampage V Extreme's exclusive voltage-regulator module (VRM). Engineered with alloy chokes and upgraded with brand-new current-sensing technology, Extreme Engine Digi+ IV's high-frequency pulsewidth modulation (PWM) implementation scales to 1 MHz allowing the VRM to achieve a 40% increase in stability! iROG The iROG is a special IC that fully maximizes ROG's unique functions, providing you with full control of your motherboard at any stage. It greatly improves your overclocking experience and offers advanced system control and management features purely at a hardware level. RAMDisk RAMDisk reserves part of the system memory and turns it into actual storage, so you can store your favorite app and game cache files in it to achieve a high-speed RAM performance boost. With the Dynamic Memory Allocation function, it can also release the unused memory of RAMDisk back to the system as needed. Plus, this can be used to extend SSD lifespan and keeps your main storage optimized for important tasks. To protect your junctioned data, RAMDisk features auto data backup and restore. NOTE: RAMDisk only supports 64-bit operating systems. CPU Level Up With ROG's CPU Level Up, overclocking has never been so easy and hassle-free. With three predefined profiles for each processor, simply select the profile you like to attain and the motherboard will do the rest. ROG Connect ROG Connect allows you to monitor the status of your desktop PC and tweak its parameters in real-time via a notebook. ROG Connect links your main system to a notebook through a USB cable, allowing you to view real-time POST code and hardware status readouts on your notebook as well as make on-the-fly parameter adjustments at a hardware level. KeyBot KeyBot is a built-in microprocessor that provides an instant upgrade to your keyboard. You can configure and assign macros to specific keys on your keyboard to perform specific or several task at the same time. Extreme Engine Digi+ IV

Nothing delivers purer power than Extreme Engine Digi+ IV — Rampage V Extreme’s

exclusive voltage-regulator module (VRM). Engineered with alloy chokes and upgraded with

brand-new current-sensing technology, Extreme Engine Digi+ IV’s high-frequency pulse-

width modulation (PWM) implementation scales to 1 MHz allowing the VRM to achieve a 40%

increase in stability!

iROG

The iROG is a special IC that fully maximizes ROG’s unique functions, providing you with full

control of your motherboard at any stage. It greatly improves your overclocking experience

and offers advanced system control and management features purely at a hardware level.

RAMDisk

RAMDisk reserves part of the system memory and turns it into actual storage, so you can

store your favorite app and game cache ﬁles in it to achieve a high-speed RAM performance

boost. With the Dynamic Memory Allocation function, it can also release the unused memory

of RAMDisk back to the system as needed. Plus, this can be used to extend SSD lifespan

and keeps your main storage optimized for important tasks. To protect your junctioned data,

RAMDisk features auto data backup and restore.

NOTE:

RAMDisk only supports 64-bit operating systems.

CPU Level Up

With ROG’s CPU Level Up, overclocking has never been so easy and hassle-free. With three

predefined profiles for each processor, simply select the profile you like to attain and the

motherboard will do the rest.

ROG Connect

ROG Connect allows you to monitor the status of your desktop PC and tweak its parameters

in real-time via a notebook. ROG Connect links your main system to a notebook through a

KeyBot

KeyBot is a built-in microprocessor that provides an instant upgrade to your keyboard. You
