To install a PCI-E x8 (Gen3 x8 link), LP, HL card to the PCIE x16 slot: 1. Place the butterfly riser card on a flat and stable surface. 2. Remove the screw (A) from the metal cover then remove the metal cover (B). metal cover PCIE x16 slot 3. Install the expansion card to PCIE x16 slot. 4. Secure the expansion card with a screw. Replacing the butterfly riser card bracket To replace or install the butterfly riser card bracket: 1. Align and place the butterfly riser card bracket into the chassis as shown.
