Fields, which can be inserted in text, attributes, or tables, read data from various sources and then automatically update to reflect changes to the data. For example, you might insert a field for the date and file name as part of a title block. You can also use fields to display object properties such as the area of a hatch or the diameter of a circle. Figure 50.
