Help Index layer groups Creating a Layer Group To organize your layers, you can create one or more layer groups and then add layers to the appropriate groups. The layer groups appear in the Map Explorer. You can specify whether or not they appear in the Autodesk MapGuide Viewer legend. One advantage of using layer groups is that you can turn on or off all of the layers in a layer group with a single command. For step-by-step instructions, choose Help Contents, click the Index tab, and look up "layer groups."
