Assign an IP Address and Access the Video Stream Access the Video Stream Access the Video Stream The Live View page is displayed with links to the setup pages that allow you to customize the Axis product. If required, click Yes to install AXIS Media Control, which allows viewing of the video stream in Internet Explorer. You will need administrator rights on the computer to do this. Note To install AXIS Media Control in Windows 7/Windows Vista, you must run Internet Explorer as an administrator. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon and select Run as administrator. Access from the Internet Once connected, the Axis product is accessible on your local network (LAN). To access the product from the Internet you must configure your network router to allow incoming data traffic to the product. To do this, enable the NAT-traversal feature, which will attempt to automatically configure the router to allow access to the product. This is enabled from Setup > System Options > Network > TCP/IP Advanced. For more information about NAT trasversal for IPv4, see the product's User Manual.
