The air for combustion is taken from the room air and the exhaust gases are emitted directly into the room. Good room ventilation is essential for safe operation of your appliance. If the room where the appliance is installed does not have a door or a window that opens directly to the outer environment, there must definitely be a fixed ventilation opening in the room. The fixed ventilation must be nonadjustable and non-closable. On the doors or windows that open directly to the outer environment, there must be a ventilation opening with the dimensions specified based on the total gas power of the appliance (as shown below).
