Cleaning Pre-Motor Filter Use only BISSELL Style 7 Replacement Pre-Motor Filter (#203-1013) in your BISSELL PowerGlide. 1. Unplug cleaner from electrical outlet. 2. The Pre-Motor Filter, located behind the grill in the bottom of bag compartment, protects the motor from dirt particles. If filter becomes dirty, pull off grill and lift out filter. 3. Hand wash filter in cold water with mild detergent, then air dry. 4. Reposition dry filter and grill. Replacing Post-Motor Filter Use only BISSELL Style 7 Replacement Post-Motor Filters in your BISSELL PowerGlide. Style 7 Post Motor Filter (#203-1009) Style 7 Micro-Lock® Post-Motor Filter (#32072) Style 7 3M Filtrete™ Post-Motor Filter (#32073) 1. Unplug cleaner from electrical outlet. 2. The Post-Motor Filter assists in the filtration process to return clean air to the room. To remove this filter, open the door on the side of the cleaner. 3. Grasp filter and pull it straight out. 4. The black Post-Motor Filter may be hand washed in cold water with mild detergent, then air dried. The white, pleated Micro-Lock and 3M Filtrete Post-Motor Filters are not washable and must be replaced. 5. Reposition new filter by reversing this procedure. How To Attach Filter Door The filter door is designed with a "break away" feature, which allows it to snap free if it is pushed open too far. To reattach, align hinges of cover with slots on sides of filter area. 10 Tip: Do not operate cleaner without the Pre-Motor Filter or Post-Motor Filter in place.
