Winterizing your unit ▶ If your dishwasher will be unused for an extended period of time in a location that experiences freezing temperatures (vacation home or through a vacation period), have your dishwasher winterized by an authorized service provider. 18.3 Transporting the appliance To avoid damage to the appliance, empty it before transporting.
