Drying tips In principle, the following applies to all drying programs: - To ensure a uniform drying result, sort the laundry according to fabric type and drying program. - Fasten zippers, hooks and eyes. Fasten loose belts, apron strings, etc.. - Do not overdry easyĆcare laundry ć risk of wrinkling! Leave laundry to dry in the air. - Do not iron laundry immediately after drying. Place the laundry in a pile for a short while. Residual moisture will then be distributed uniformly. - Knitted textiles (e.g. TĆshirts, cotton jersey laundry) often shrink when dried for the first time. Do not use the "Very dry/Extra dry" program. Program selection For optimum drying results your dryer offers several program groups and additional options. Select the required drying program from the program table according to the examples (see page 17). Automatic programs There are automatic programs for different types of textiles (Regular/Cotton ECOSENSOR, Permanent Press ECOSENSOR, Mix). Regular/Cotton ECONSENSOR Permanent Press ECOSENSOR The program sequence of automatic programs is controlled via sensors. The duration of the program depends on the measured degree of moisture in the laundry and on the selected degree of dryness (e.g. Damp dry or Extra dry). Mix programs There are mix programs (Very dry, Regular dry) for mixed loads different types of fabrics. i If you choose an Automatic or Mix program the display shows the estimated time remaining immediately. Special programs The programs Heavy load, Wool care and Short are made for special application cases. The duration of the Wool careĆ Program must be adjusted via the SelectĆButton. Possible Settings: 0:00ć2:30 h in 10 min. steps. i Dry woolen or woolĆrich textiles with dryer rack only! Time programs Time programs run at specific temperatures - High for temperature insensitive textiles - Medium for temperature sensitive textiles - Air Fluff/No heat for extreme temperature sensitive textiles. The duration of the drying process must be adjusted via the SelectĆButton. Possible Settings: 0:00ć2:30 h in 10 min. steps. i If you choose a program with variable time (time programs, wool care) the display starts to flash. You have to set the time. Additional options i Before setting additional options, choose a program with program selector! SymĆ bol Function Sets the delay start time of the dryer (Start in .. hours!) Extra care (more gentle than Delicates/low temp.") ChildĆproof lock (only effective while the program is running) Precision setting of the desired degree of dryness Volume of the end signal and the damp dry signal Coordinates the remaining time display to the spin speed at which the laundry was previously spun in the washing machine Possible setting 0-12 h (0.5 h steps) On/Off On/Off 0, 1, 2, 3 Off, continuous, maximum 400 600 800 1000 1200 15
