Testing your speakers The type of receiver you are using will determine the proper procedure for testing and adjusting the balance of the three cube speaker arrays. On some receivers, you will turn off the center channel and adjust the right and left speakers first. Others allow you to adjust all three arrays at once, as well as rear channel speakers, using a special test mode. To ensure proper adjustment of the speaker volume balance, refer to the instructions in your receiver owner's guide. Accessories To add to your Acoustimass`-4 home theater system placement options, Bose offers a variety or mounting accessories in singles and pairs. These include UB wall/ceiling mounting brackets, FS floor stands, and TS table stands. For information and ordering instructions, contact your local Bose dealer, or call Bose directly. Refer to the "For service" information for the proper phone number and address in your location. Cleaning your speakers Clean the cabinets of your Acoustimass-4 system using a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent such as dish soap. Do not allow liquids to spill through the grille of the cube speakers, or to enter the Acoustimass module. If necessary, you can vacuum the grille on the arrays. Avoid applying any pressure with the vacuum nozzle. The drivers are located directly behind the grille cloth. Damage may occur if reasonable care is not taken. 8
