Connecting the Acoustimass multimedia speaker system Cube speakers to the bass module The supplied speaker cables have two wires, positive and negative. The plain wire is always negative (-). The wire with a stripe or a red collar is always positive (+). Always connect them to the corresponding terminals on the cube speakers and bass module. For each connection, push the terminal tab down and insert the appropriate wire into the exposed hole (Figure 5). Release the tab to secure the wire in place. 1. Connect the end of one speaker cable to the right cube speaker (Figure 6). 2. Connect the other end to the right (R) OUTPUTS terminal on the bass module (Figure 7). 3. Check the wires. They should be connected positive to positive and negative to negative. Do not let the exposed wires brush against each other. This could create a short circuit and damage your speaker system. 4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 to connect the left cube speaker to the bass module's left 0-1 OUTPUTS terrninal. CAUTION: Be sure to unplugallcomponent. before connecting the system. The
supplied
speaker
cables
