English Tab 2, 10 Tab 3, 11 MAINTENANCE AND CARE Troubleshooting Tab4, 12 Tab 5, 13 Tab 6, 14 Tab2, 7, 15 Tab 8, 16 Problem What to do Speaker will not turn on (AC power) Speaker will not turn on (battery power) Paired Bluetooth® device will not connect Speaker indicates a connection, but is not playing music • Make sure your system is connected to a working AC (mains) outlet. • Make sure the protective cover is open. • Battery may be in protection mode or discharged - connect to working AC (mains) outlet to restore the battery to operational mode. • Make sure the protective cover is open. • If your device requires a passkey, make sure the one you entered was correct. • Turn the SoundLink® Mobile speaker II off and on again. • Clear the speaker memory (see "Clearing memory" on page 16). Remove the SoundLink® Mobile speaker II from the list of paired devices on your Bluetooth device (For help, see the owner's manual for the device). Then pair the device and the SoundLink® Mobile speaker II again. • Turn off or disable Bluetooth on all other paired devices nearby (including Bose® preferred devices) and reconnect the device you want to hear. • Turn the SoundLink® Mobile speaker II off and on again. • Make sure the transport controls of the audio device are set to playback audio. • Make sure your SoundLink® Mobile speaker II is not muted, and the volume is up. • Make sure your Bluetooth® enabled device is playing audio, and the volume is up. 19
