These raise and lower the SoundLink system volume in the same way as the remote control volume buttons. Adding another music source You can use another audio device, such as a portable digital music player, with your SoundLink system. This requires using a stereo audio cable (not provided) that is appropriate for the connected audio device and has a 3.5mm mini plug on the end that plugs into the AUDIO IN connector on the SoundLink system. 1. Plug the cable from the audio device into the AUDIO IN connector on the back of the SoundLink speaker. 2. Press the remote AUX button. 3. Set the connected device to full volume, then use the SoundLink system volume buttons to adjust the level.
