Adjusting the presser foot height * BAS-401 N.N: STOP 200 POSITION 200° * BAS-412A -416A BES-1210AC material material Adjust the presser foot 0 height by loosening the screw 61 so that the presser foot is above the material when the former is in its lowest position (when mark on the pulley is aligned with the one on the belt cover). NOTE Select the first needle bar, and loosen the screw of the presser foot. (BAS-412A • 416A • BES-1210AC) While the power is turned on, lower the presser foot using the presser retracting lever. 4-3-1. Adjusting the position of the presser shaft screw 9 -• O cap 42.3mm N.0 • 1. Turn the pulley to set the presser foot to its lowest position. (Turn the pulley until A mark on the pulley is aligned with the one on the belt cover.) 2. Loosen the screw of the presser shaft clamp using a screwdriver inserted through the hole in the side of the machine head. Adjust the position of the presser shaft 0 so that the distance from the end of the bush O to the end of the presser shaft O is 42.3 mm. 3. Securely tighten the screw of the presser shaft clamp 0. 4.
