4-14. Adjusting the bobbin winder 4-14-1. Positioning the bobbin winder claw ft) 1. Remove the three screws 0, and the bobbin winder cover ®. Remove the two screws ®, and the bobbin winder assembly 0. 2. Move the bobbin presser O toward the bobbin winder shaft @ just before it reaches the position where thread winding ends. 3. Tighten the two screws ® so that the plate spring 0 is at the stepped section of the bobbin winder claw O. 4-14-2. Positioning the bobbin presser I )jv Loosen the screw 0, and adjust the bobbin presser § by moving it so that the proper amount of thread can be wound on the bobbin. NOTES • If the thread is not wound evenly on the bobbin, loosen the screw 0 and move the thread guide 0 right and left. When winding more thread on the bobbin, loosen the screw 0, then move the bobbin presser 0. • If the thread comes out from the thread guide 0, loosen the knob O. If the thread is wound too loose, tighten the knob O. • The thread winder motor does not operate if the circuit protector activated. In that case, leave the protector until it's cooled off. that
the

NOTES
If
the
thread
is
not
wound

the

left.
When
winding

bobbin,
loosen

then
move
the
bobbin
presser
0.
If
the
thread
comes
out
from
the
thread

loosen
the
knob
O.
If
the
thread
is
wound

loose,
tighten
the
knob
O.
The
thread
winder
motor
does
not

In
