Error Message Replace Toner Replace WT Box Scan Unable XX Short paper Size mismatch Small paper Toner Low Too Many Files (MFC-9320CW only) Unusable Device (MFC-9320CW only) WT Box End Soon Cause The toner cartridge is at the end of its life. It is time to replace the waste toner box. The machine has a mechanical problem. The paper size detected is shorter than the paper size defined in the print job and the paper size being used requires the back cover to be open. The paper in the tray is not the correct size. The paper size defined in the printer driver requires the back cover to be open. The toner cartridge is near the end of its life. There are too many files stored on the USB Flash memory drive. Action Replace the toner cartridge for the color indicated on the LCD. (See Replacing a Toner cartridge on page 168.) Replace the waste toner box. (See Replacing the waste toner box on page 182.) „ Disconnect the machine from the power for several minutes, then reconnect it. (The machine can be turned off for approximately 60 hours without losing faxes stored in the memory. See Transferring your faxes or Fax Journal report on page 147.) „ If the problem continues, call Brother Customer Service. Open the back cover (back output tray) and remove any printed pages. Leave the back cover open and press Black Start or Color Start. Load the correct size of paper in the tray and set the "Paper Size" (Menu, 1, 2, 2 (See Paper Size on page 25)). Open the back cover (back output tray) and press Black Start or Color Start. (See Printing on thick paper, labels, envelopes or small paper on page 14.) Buy a new toner cartridge for the color that is indicated on the LCD before you get a Replace Toner message. Reduce the number of files stored on the USB Flash memory drive.
