10. STANDARD ADJUSTMENTS 10-4. Adjusting of the feed dog height 3862M 0.8 mm 1.2 mm The standard height of the feed dog (1) when it is at its maximum height above the top of the needle plate is 0.8 mm for -3 specifications, and 1.2 mm for -5 specifications. Becomes lower Becomes higher 1. Turn the pulley until the feed dog (1) rises to the highest position. 2. Tilt back the machine head. 3. Loosen the screw (2). 4. Turn the feed lifting shaft crank (3) to move the feed bracket (4) up and down. 5. Tighten the screw (2). 3863M 10-5.
