Set the dial to Tv. 2. Select the shutter speed with the SHUTTER dial. With the customized functions ( 83) you can change the direction of the adjustment when you operate the SHUTTER dial.  Settings other than the shutter speed (aperture, etc.) are adjusted automatically.  The shutter speed changes when you lock and change the exposure.  When the AGC switch is set to ON, the numeric value flashes on the screen if the selected shutter speed is not suitable for the recording conditions. In such case, readjust the shutter speed. If you are using an ND filter, turn it off first and readjust the shutter speed.  The image quality may decrease to some extent when using slow shutter speeds.  When recording under artificial light sources such as fluorescent, mercury or halogen lamps, the screen may flicker depending on the shutter speed. To avoid the flicker, set the shutter speed to 1/100.  You can use the custom keys ( 70) or the menu ( 128) to prevent the accidental operation of the SHUTTER dial. 55

Set the
dial to Tv.

Select the shutter speed with the SHUTTER dial.
With the customized functions (
83) you can change the direction of the adjustment when you operate
the SHUTTER dial.
