Copy Exposure (Manual) You can manually adjust the exposure to the most appropriate level for the original. COPY 1 Press [COPY]. COPY lights, and the Copy Basic Features screen appears. 2 F3 2 Place your original © press [F3] (DENSITY). The display for setting a scan mode appears. Basic Copying Features F1 3 Press [F1] (LIGHT) or [F3] (DARK) to adjust the exposure © F3 press [OK]. OK Press F1 (LIGHT) or F3 (DARK) to move the indicator to the left to make the exposure lighter, or to the right to make the exposure darker. The selected mode is set, and the Copy Basic Features screen returns. Start 4 Press [Start]. Copying starts. NOTE To adjust the copy exposure automatically, see "Copy Exposure and Image Quality (Automatic)," on p. 2-12.
