i: Setting the ISO Speed for Still Photos Set the ISO speed (image sensor's sensitivity to light) to suit the ambient light level. Regarding the ISO speed during movie shooting, see pages 299 and 302. 1 Press the button (9). 2 Set the ISO speed. While looking at the top LCD panel or the viewfinder, turn the or dial. ISO speed can be set within ISO 100 - ISO 51200 in 1/3-stop increments. "A" indicates ISO Auto. The ISO speed will be set automatically (p.165).
