a: Manual Exposure You can set both the shutter speed and aperture manually as desired. While referring to the exposure level indicator in the viewfinder, you can set the exposure as desired. This method is called manual exposure. * stands for Manual. 1 Set the Mode Dial to . 2 Set the ISO speed (p.158). 3 Set the shutter speed and aperture.  To set the shutter speed, turn the dial.  To set the aperture, turn the dial.  If it cannot be set, set the switch downward, then turn the or dial.
