Sports Mode ( ) This mode is ideal for capturing fastmoving subjects. • Holding down the shutter button enables continuous shooting. lip Set the Command Dial to OC . • The picture-taking procedure is the same as for the Full Auto mode (page 24). • In the Sports mode, the In-focus indicator (S) does not light when focus is achieved. • Using ISO 400 or faster film is recommended. W • For sports photography. a lens with a focal length in the 200mm or 300mm range is recommended. u If the shutter speed display blinks, the shutter speed may be so slow that a blurred picture may result due to camera shake. Hold the camera steady or use a tripod. (The shutter speed will still blink even while a tripod is used.) 30
