5. Depth-of-Field AE (DEP) This mode is for obtaining sharp focus between a specified point in the foreground and one in the background. It is effective for large-group photos and landscapes. The camera automatically focuses at the optimum distance and sets the required shutter speed and aperture. The focusing point you use can be manually or automatically selected or eye- selected.
