Paper Feeder If you cannot reach the jammed paper from inside the machine, try removing it from the paper feeder. 1 Lift the paper stack cover and pull it out completely. ` 3 Insert the paper stack cover. NOTE Make sure the back end of the cover does not catch and lower the scanning platform. NOTE Make sure the back end of the cover does not catch the front paper guide. 2 Carefully pull jammed paper from inside the slot. Troubleshooting NOTE If you tear the paper, remove any torn pieces to avoid further jams. 9-5

Troubleshooting
Paper Feeder
If you cannot reach the jammed paper
from inside the machine, try removing it
from the paper feeder.

Lift the paper stack cover and
pull it out completely.

NOTE
