COVER CHECK SCAN PLATFORM The scanning platform is dirty, or not set into scanning position. Comm.Err Communication is disconnected. (only in the copy mode) COMM.ERROR (xxxx) DESTINATION SET BY MANUAL UP TO 16 DRAM LOST DUPLICATE SETTING Fax Err Communication is disconnected. Maximum number of recipients (16) were manually entered for broadcasting or polling. The data in memory was lost when the machine was turned on. The same recipient was entered twice. The telephone line is busy or there was no answer. (only in the copy mode) Action Close the cartridge cover. Clean the scanning area, or lift the scanning platform into place. Resend the fax or ask the other party to send their fax again. Check with the other party if their machine is set correctly for the required function. Resend the fax or ask the other party to send their fax again. Resend the document to other recipients if necessary. The machine automatically returns to standby mode. Select a different recipient.
