r Do not leave the film in the sheet feeder for long periods of time. Dust and dirt may accumulate on the film resulting in spotty printing. r To avoid smudging caused by fingerprints, use a pair of thin cloth gloves while loading and handling the film. r To avoid fading, do not expose the printed film to prolonged sunlight. r Store unused papers and films flat. Do not remove papers from their protective packaging until you are ready to use them. r Store unused film at temperatures between 59°F to 86°F (15°C to 30°C). The relative humidity should be between 10% and 70%. Uncurling Back Print Film If Back Print Film becomes curled, follow these steps to uncurl it: Cover the nonglossy side of the film with a sheet of plain paper. Roll the film and paper up in the direction opposite the curl. r Do not roll the film too tight. r The film and paper rolled together should be about one inch (2.5 cm) in diameter. 2-28 Printing With the MultiPASS C5000 Chapter 2
