76 Operating the Shutter Remotely - RemoteCapture iPhoto or Image Capture may automatically start up at the same time. Skip to Step 9 if neither program starts up. 8 Click the icon at the top left of the iPhoto or Image Capture window to close the program. 9 Confirm that the Shooting-RemoteCapture window is displayed. RemoteCapture Features RemoteCapture has two windows: the Shooting-RemoteCapture window and the Save-RemoteCapture window. Use these windows to record and save images, respectively. Shooting-RemoteCapture Window Detail Settings The Detail Settings dialog opens when you click the arrow symbol on the left. Recordable Image Counter Displays the number of images that will fit onto the computer or memory card in the camera. Viewfinder Display Click the [Viewfinder On] button while a connection to the camera is open to display the image appearing in the camera's viewfinder. Viewfinder On/Off Button Turns the viewfinder display on or off. Release Button Releases the shutter. Set the basic camera settings here. Reflect Changes Button Updates the settings. Slide this to zoom the camera in or out. RemoteCapture locks the exposure and focus settings for the subject matter in the Viewfinder section. If the lighting or distance to the subject changes, click [Reflect changes] to reset these settings.
