Turning the Flash Off You can shoot with the flash turned off. Touch . Choose !. ● Touch ! to choose it. ● Touch ! again to make the setting. X Once set, ! will be selected. ● After pressing the r button, you can also press the qr buttons or turn the  dial to choose !. Shoot. What if the indicator blinks orange and a flashing appears? When you press the shutter button halfway in low light conditions where camera shake is likely, the indicator will blink orange and a flashing will appear on the screen.
