User's Manual Projecting an Image Connecting the Projector Connecting the Projector to a Computer Connect the projector to the computer. A digital connection (P40) is recommended when projecting a WUXGA or UXGA image in high quality. When using a computer with an HDMI output terminal, a digital connection (P41) can be made using an HDMI cable. Before connecting the cables, turn off both the projector and computer. ■Connecting to RGB Monitor Output Terminal (Analog Connection) VGA cable (Input signal type: [Analog PC] - P48) Computer Projector Monitor output terminal (mini D-sub 15-pin) To ANALOG PC / COMPONENT IN VGA cable (supplied) When inputting corresponding audio. AUDIO OUT terminal (AUDIO OUT) Audio cable (not included) To AUDIO IN • Use a VGA cable in which all pins are connected. If the cable is a type in which all pins are not connected, the image may not be correctly displayed. • Use an audio cable without a built-in resistor. Using an audio cable with a built-in resistor will reduce the audio volume. 39
