Operation Setting Functions from Menus Adjusting Image Quality (Image Adjustment) Reducing Image Noise (Mosquito noise reduction) > [Image adjustment] > [Advanced adjustment] > [Mosquito noise reduction] HDMI Digital PC Component Analog PC LAN USB You can reduce mosquito noise. Dynamic Gamma Adjustment > [Image adjustment] > [Advanced adjustment] > [Dynamic gamma] HDMI Digital PC Component Analog PC LAN USB You can adjust the gradation representation of light and dark portions of an image automatically. Off Weak Middle Strong Disables mosquito noise reduction. Specifies the intensity of the mosquito noise reduction in three steps. Press the OK button to accept your setting and then press the MENU button. • [Off] is the factory default. • Image resolution may seem lower when noise reduction is applied. • The adjustment you have made is stored as adjusted values for the input signals and image mode of the current projection. • This setting is not displayed for the following input: HDMI, Digital PC, Analog PC-1, Analog PC-2, or Component. Off Weak Middle Strong Dynamic gamma is disabled. Specifies the intensity of the dynamic gamma in three steps. Press the OK button to accept your setting and then press the MENU button. • The factory default settings are as follows. - For HDMI (when [HDMI In] (P108) is [Computer]), Digital PC or Analog PC, USB, or LAN, the factory default is [Off]. - For HDMI (when [HDMI In] (P108) is set to [Auto]) and Component, the default setting is [Weak]. • The adjustments you have made are stored as adjusted values for the input signals and image mode of the current projection. 91
