NOTE If the screen is not displayed, run the software using the following steps. 1) Click the Start button, and then click [All Programs]. • Be sure to Log On as the Administrator. • The procedure in Windows 8.1/10 is different from the ones described in this manual. Refer to the Windows 8.1/10 "Help and Support Center" to select [Run]. 2) Click [CANON RP10], and [RP10 Configuration]. RP10 Configuration starts. B Under [Select connection method], specify either [USB] or [Ethernet]. [USB] Automatically begins searching for connected COM port. The port name is displayed when the connection is recognized. NOTE • When making connection with the USB cable, check the COM port number in the [Device Manager] screen. • If the message "RP10 not found. Connect RP10 to this computer" appears under [USB], confirm the cable connections (see p. 16) and the STATUS LED (see p. 17). [Ethernet] Manually enter the IP address of the CR-150N/CR-120N connected with the RP10. Click [Test] to check if the connection is established successfully. C Specify whether to use the OPOS driver or Printer driver. To use with OPOS driver Select the [Use OPOS Driver] check box, and then select the [Paper Type]. IMPORTANT Check with your software provider to determine whether your software is compatible with the OPOS driver. NOTE When this option is selected, the [Run Utility] button is grayed out and you cannot use the printer driver. To use with printer driver Clear the [Use OPOS Driver] check box, then the [Run Utility] button is enabled to set up the printer driver configuration. For details of printer driver settings, see "Printer Driver Settings" on p. 20. D Once configuration is complete, click [Apply] to reflect the changes. 19
