Routine Maintenance Cleaning the Printer During normal printing, ink and small scraps of paper accumulate in the printer. When the accumulated debris becomes clearly visible, clean the printer by the following procedure. 1 Turn the printer off. 2 Ensure that the POWER lamp is off, then unplug the printer.
