Before You Start Using This Product 1 •Voice Navigation messages are output from the speaker of the machine by default, even if you connect earphones/ 1 headphones to the jack on the side of the machine. For instructions on hearing Voice Navigation messages only from earphones/headphones, see "Enabling/ Disabling the Voice Guide from Speaker," on p. 4-21. Reversing the Contrast of the Touch Panel Display You can reverse the contrast on the touch panel display for better viewing. The Reversed Display mode reverses the light and dark areas on the touch panel display. If you ﬁnd it difﬁcult to read what is being shown on the touch panel display, try using this mode. The resulting display will have white text on a black background. NOTE The default setting is 'Off'. 1-18 Parts and Their Functions
