■ REC Mode Operation Lamp Color Status Meaning Green Operational (Power on, recording enabled). / Lit Auto Focus operation was successful. / LCD is off or in sleep state. Storing movie or processing image. / Image is Flashing being stored. / Cannot Auto Focus. / Card is being formatted. / Powering down. Lit Memory card is locked. / Cannot create folder. / Memory is full. / Write error. Red Memory card problem. / Memory card is Flashing unformatted. / BEST SHOT setup cannot be registered. / Low battery alert. Amber Flashing Flash is charging. AF assist/ REC light/ self-timer Lamp Meaning Color Status White Flashing Self-timer countdown. IMPORTANT! • Never remove the memory card from the camera while the operation lamp is flashing green. Doing so will cause the image you shot to be lost. ■ PLAY mode Operation Lamp Color Status Meaning Lit Operational (Power on, recording enabled). Green Red One of the following operations is in progress: Delete, DPOF, protect, copy, format, resize, Flashing trimming, adding audio to snapshot, keystone correction, color correction, MOTION PRINT, movie editing, power down.
