COIIIIECTIIIG All EXTERIIAL MICROPHONE Insert the plug of an external microphone(not supplied) into the MIC jack. This disconnects built-in microphone. PAUSE COIITROL This convenient P ause feature is most helpful Mile recording because you can stop the recorder momentarily Aithout setting the control buttons. Slide the sv'itch to ON to stop operation in PLAY, RECORD, F.F./CUE or REWIRE V modes. Slide the sAitch to OFF to resume the current operation TAPE COUNTER The tape counter is helpful to note the locations of specific portion ofthe tape. At the beginning ofthe recording, press the RESET button (located beside the tape counter) to set the counter to 000. TAPE SPEED COIITROL 2.4....... Normal speed. Compatible Aith most single-speed microcaswtte recorders. Sound quality is better than that of1.2. 1.2....... For longer recording. You vvll get the double playback time. Note: You can change the tape speed at any time. EARPHOIIE JACK When the plug of the earphone is inserted into the EAR jack, the bulk-in speaker is automatically disconnected.
