ERASE PROTECTION TABS To prevent accidental recording or erasing, and to preserve previous recordings, remove tv. tabs on the sides ofthe microcassette. Once a tab has been removed, the RECORD button cannot be pressed dom. To protect side A, break off side a tab as show'. To record on a protected microcassette, cover the tab's hole cAb a piece of plastic adhesive tape. MAINTENANCE • To maintain optimum sound quality, clean the tape handling parts; Play/Record head, Erase head, Pinch roller and Capstan from time to time. Use a cotton swab moistened with denatured alcohol. • Clean the unit with a sot cloth. Do not use chemicals. • Do not use or store the unit in temperature extrem es.
