Prepare the computer for disassembly. 2. Remove the keyboard. 3. Remove the heatspreader. Fan is attached to heatspreader assembly. 4. Disconnect the fan cable and lift the fan assembly from the slot on the system board. To replace the fan assembly, reverse the previous procedures.
