Turn off the computer. 2. Disconnect the power cord. 3. Remove the battery pack . 4. Remove the keyboard. 5. Disconnect the backlight cable from the connector on the system board . 6. Simultaneously make contact with the two pads located at R37 on the system boarding using a conductive piece of material (piece of wire or tool) or remove the RTC battery for 10 seconds, clearing the password. 7. Reassemble the computer. 8. Turn on the computer to verify that the poweron password has been cleared. If it has not been cleared, repeat Steps 1 through 7.

Clearing the
Power-on
Password
