The Blacklist Blacklist configuration is not limited to domain names. File extensions may be specified to block the download of said file types. Be sure to evaluate the type of files that may be traversing the firewall out of necessity on a regular basis to ensure no loss in productivity due to invalid network configurations or network outages. Domains and/or file types defined in the Blacklist will be denied upon request. Navigate to the Firewall tab, Content Filtering section of the web-administration. Click on Edit URL Black List to modify or append the contents of the filtering database. To block an entire domain and all sub-domains use the following syntax casino.com/* # Blocks access to the domain casino.com *.casino.com/* # Blocks access to all sub-domains under casino.com To block specific file types from download through HTTP use the following syntax *.exe # Blocks executable downloads Once finished editing the Blacklist, click Apply to save changes or Cancel to clear.

Once finished editing the Blacklist, click
