L2TP WAN Mode A method of connection that requires you to enter your L2TP IP Address, L2TP Subnet Mask, L2TP Gateway IP Address, L2TP Server IP Address, Username and Password (provided by your Internet Service Provider) to gain access to the Internet. L2TP IP Address: Enter the IP Address provided by your ISP. L2TP Subnet Mask: Enter the Subnet mask provided by your ISP. L2TP Gateway IP Enter the Gateway address provided by your ISP. Address: L2TP Server IP Enter the IP address of the L2TP server you are connecting to. This Address: information is provided by your ISP. User Name: The username that you use to login to your Internet connection. Password: Enter the password associated with your username. Verify Password: Maximum Idle Time: Retype the password for verification. Defines how long the machine can be idle before the L2TP connection is disconnected. L2TP Connection: The Disconnect button will immediately terminate any active connection. Note: These buttons become enabled after the router has been rebooted with the L2TP mode selected. LAN Your internal network settings are configured based on the IP Address and Subnet Mask assigned in this section. The IP address is also used to access this Web-based management interface. It is recommended that you use the default settings if you do not have an existing network. LAN Settings IP Address: The IP address of the router on the local area network. The local network settings are based on the address assigned here. Default Subnet Mask: The subnet mask of your router on the local area network. RIP Announcement: Used with multiple routers to broadcast routing information.
