Operation Temperature Cooling system Your refrigerator is equipped with two separate cooling systems to cool the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment. The air and odors in the refrigerator compartment and freezer compartment compartment do not get mixed. IMPORTANT For proper operation, do not allow food to cover the temperature sensor in the refrigerator compartment. Setting the Temperature Touch the Set key below the refrigerator compartment, freezer food compartment or multi-zone compartment temperature display. Compartment Refrigerator Freezer Multi-Zone* Range 37°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C) 40°F (4°C) recommended -5°F to 10°F (-24°C to -18°C) 0°F (-18°C) recommended 21°F to 50°F (-6°C to 10°C) -10°F to 10°F (-26°C to -18°C) *See Multi-Zone Compartment section Switch display between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) Touch and hold the Vacation key for 3 sec. to switch the display between °C and °F. Quick Cool Use this function when you place a lot of food in the refrigerator compartment or when you need to cool your food quickly. It is recommended that you activate the Quick Cool feature 4-8 hours before placing the food inside. Quick Freeze Use when you wish to freeze your food in a short period time. When this feature is activated, it will run for 2 hours. 14
