OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (cont'd) AUTO TIMER The AUTO-TIMER feature offers a unique selection of multiple choice, fully automatic on and/or off (start/stop) programs between 1-12 hrs under any one mode of your Home Comfort Unit. The programs are as follows: a) Auto-Off: Pre-select a time that will turn off the unit automatically (between 1-12hrs). b) Auto-On: Pre-select a time that will turn on the unit automatically (between 1-12hrs). c) Auto-On & Auto Off: Pre-select a time that will turn the unit ON / OFF automatically at specified times (between 1-12hrs). Note: These functions must be performed daily, as the program is automatically canceled/erased after the program has ended. CLOCK TIMER a) Press CLOCK button, LCD clock display flashes. Press UP or DOWN: for every second held, the LCD clock display changes setting by 1 min. intervals. b) Press (UP) or (DOWN) and hold for more than 1 second. The LCD clock display changes setting by 30 min. intervals. c) When setting is complete, press the CLOCK button again to confirm the setting. LCD will stop displaying CLOCK and will display the set time. WATER TANK When the water tank is full, the RED LED indicator flashes (Fig. W) FULL INDICATOR and the unit stops running. After discharging water from the tank (See "Draining Excess Fig. W Water" on pg. 5 ), please press the POWER ON/OFF button to operate the unit. The unit will continue to operate in the mode that was operating before emptying the tank. FILTER CLEANING INDICATOR Fig. X A signal is given after approximately 650 hours of operation in order to prevent you from forgetting to replace the filter. A light on the front of the device will illuminate (Fig. X). The indicator light will be displayed ONLY when in running mode. DEFAULT INDICATOR When default indicator lights are illuminated, this indicates internal wiring failure. If you see the above two failure lights, please contact your qualified service technician. 10
