Select the backup, right-click and select one the following operations as needed: • Sync Now - Traditional Veeam backup copy job in which the restore points are sync'ed from source storage to target. • Active Full - This added feature in Veeam 9.0 helps improve local (on-site) backup copy performance and reduces the load on deduplication appliances by eliminating the data rehydration required to process the backup copy job retention policy, or to create a new GFS (Grandfather-Father-Son) restore point. Enabling this option will disable a full backup transformation (oldest incremental backups will no longer be merged into the full backup file for retention processing).
